Charlene was sleeping happily. The moment we stepped out of the house, she stopped. It seems like she wants to see things. Waited for a super long time to see the neuro doctor (not much use). Charlene wants to be carried and to walk around so that she can see new things. While waiting for medications at pharmacy, she was happily looking around.
Based on doc's advice, we cut dosage of one of the anti-convulsant medicine (Kappra). Last evening and early morning, we saw a spike in number of episodes. We will continue to monitor the situation closely. There can be 2 possible reasons. One is triggered by lack of sleep (Charlene obviously didn't sleep enough in the day as she was awake throughout the whole trip to KKH) or it could be the reduction of the concentration of Kappra in her blood.
Lord, we pray that the spike is one-off. Lord, we pray that we can successfully get Charlene off Kappra. Lord, please heal Charlene and remove the seizures from her life. In Jesus Name, Amen.
