After the vaccination, the frequency of Charlene's seizures went up to double digit daily, hovering around 14-15. I called the neurologist on Mon (19/7) who told me to monitor further. We were alarmed as the trend seems to be going the same way like when Epilim was cut. We find ourselves questioning our decision. Should we have followed the neurologist's instructions to cut the medication? But Charlene is on 4 anti-convulsant medications and too much is no good for her in the future (anti-convulsants basically sedate her, and cause her to be lethargic and have many other side effects). Already, she is only awake for 5 hours a day and her muscle weakness is serious.
Anyway, we prayed to God (19/7) and enquired if we should continue cutting the medication in future. The next day (20/7), Charlene had only 5 episodes. But from wed till the end of the week, she had more than 10 daily. What was amazing is that when we brought her out to cell on Fri and to church, she didn't have any.
